“ENCORES” Diptych 40” x 48” x 3/8” 2019

THOUGHTS
When I started working with glass. I developed a process of breaking tempered glass and freezing it in epoxy and then successfully printed on the glass with a UV light flat-bed printer. With that process I was able to create my own narratives on a 2d surface. In these printed on glass images we witness my return to creating a three dimensional scene on a two dimensional surface.

Production image for printing.

“END OF THE ROAD” is a stage set with the Buddah at the center of a thrust stage and a backdrop creating more of a light hearted festivity. The images were photographed by me during a trip to Vietnam, Singapore and Thailand. I fell in love with the architecture and patterns of the country. At the same time I was mourning the end of a long standing touring career with a performing artist .
